Partial Solar Eclipse 2017
A partial solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, but they are not perfectly aligned. This results in only a portion of the Sun being obscured by the Moon. During this event, observers in the path of the eclipse can see the Sun partially covered, creating a distinctive crescent shape. The brightness of the Sun diminishes, and shadows may take on an unusual quality. A partial solar eclipse can vary in duration and coverage depending on the specific locations and time, making each occurrence a unique spectacle for observers.
